The encyclopedia of connections
Everything is connected.
How is X connected to Y? Each page takes a surprising pair and shows the chain that links them — with a realistic video and a relations graph.
What this is
Everything is connected — here you see how
everything-is-connected.info is an encyclopedia of connections. We take two things that seem unrelated — coffee and climate change, music and mathematics — and show the chain of entities and relations that links them.
It is built on Benedikt's relations model: see everything as a network of entities (nodes) and relations (edges). Every surprising link is derived, not asserted — and you see that everything really is in relation.
The model behind it
What we think with
Every connection is derived through Benedikt's relations model: see everything as a network of entities and relations that can be empty, active or passive. The full derivation and definition of the model is in Benedikt's book.
