About
Benedikt Müller
I am Benedikt, I come from IT security and hold a master's degree in internet security. In my work I model IT systems as provenance graphs — graphs that make visible which processes, files and users relate to one another, in order to spot unusual and potentially dangerous connections.
At some point I noticed that I do not only work in graphs but think and feel in them. Learning something new, for me, means opening up a new entity and connecting it to what I already carry. This way of thinking grew out of that observation — and so did the book.
I apply this way of thinking for free and show on various pages how it can be applied — so you can take from it whatever helps you. In my book, the individual terms are defined in much greater depth. It matters to me to say clearly: this is a way of thinking, a theory concerned with explaining things.
